I'll be complaining about that as well when I take my car in Friday, 27 Feb.

I have a feeling they'll want to replicate the sound with a test drive, and I'm sure they will claim it doesn't occur while they drive it.

Hmmm, I wonder if this could be what I'm hearing, just from the passenger seat. Was it when you moved around in the seat, or when you went over uneven bits of road?
Happened all the time in bends or roundabouts

I do have a F36 and I have a symphony of rattles! First BMW with that many rattles.

They seem to be coming from all over the place, Hatch, front doors, sunroof.

It's funny because I had left from BMW to try something different and came back after a few months because of rattles and I ended up coming back to a brand new BMW who rattles even more!

So I simply started complaining about every little thing to my friends/coworkers/family. I complain to them about the rattles, the low quality leather, all of the plastic parts, the engine noise, and silly features like automatic start/stop. I complain to them about the cost of maintenance…etc. Of course I secretly still love the car, but I don’t let people know that.

Amazingly, that completely put an end to all of the negative comments about the car. When people get a ride from me, I always get things like: “This car is way nicer than I imagined, based on your comments…” or “You’re just spoiled. My Toyota is so much worse, but I don’t complain like you.”
Good psychological fun there. My old F30's (2014) window used to squeak loudly going up, so whenever I had someone in the car and they heard it I would just be like "like my tercel?"

Yeah, I've got dash rattles in my 2014 after only 4000 miles. A $50,000+ car should not do that..

I'll be taking the car to the dealer tomorrow, and will be talking to them about the noises. I will post what happens!

Same front passenger door rattle for the past 1-2 months (@23k mi) - mainly over bumps. Like others have said, it's probably coming from the door pin or inside the seatbelt housing. Door, door handle, interior door parts, hinges and door frame - all solid.

Will bring to dealer attention at next service @25k (brakes) and try to post result here.

I posted about my door buzzing a little while ago. The door pins can rattle, the plastic fasteners that hold the door panels on can rattle, and ends of the ambient light bar that is embedded within door trim can buzz when playing music.

Mine was the latter and I lived with it lost a whole year before I figured it out. Easy to fix any of them, once you know what it is.

Easy to fix the fasteners, or the rattling door pins?
