I haven't been able to listen to Podcasts on my iPod touch since the iOS 8 update a year ago. iOS 9 is even worse as it even has problems when listening to music. I have the pre 3/2014 version of NBT on my '14 435.
Can anyone with the post 3/2014 NBT verify the functionality of podcasts?

Whats this pre/post difference? There is NBT Evo which only just came out, and before NBT was CIC, which I don't think any 4 series has.

I don't know what the difference is. The most current NBT update (UPD05062) will only work on cars manufactured after 3/14. My car was manufactured on 2/14 so I could not do the update.

I think it actually has to do with which software version your NBT is running. Try getting a software update at the dealer, complaining your bluetooth doesn't work right should let them do it under warranty.

I did ask them to look at it the last time I took it in. The "genius" told me that the software version in my car is the most recent and said it's an issue with the iPod. I tried calling a couple of months later hoping that i'd get a different genius but I never got a return call. I'm due for another service next month so I'll give it another try. BTW, this is happening when I'm connected with the lightning connector and not Bluetooth.

Go to the navigation page, hit options, go to navigation system version, take a picture and post it here, or tell me what it says. I think, IIRC, it should say NBTX, x being a letter, let me know what the letter is.

Forget what the genius said. Go to service, complain about some issues blah blah and then say have a friend who said having his car's software updated fixed it and you wanted to know if they could please try the same thing under warranty since it is a problem blah blah.

They should book you in for an update.

I didn't need to have the NBT version updated after all. The latest ConnectedDrive update did the trick. Podcasts and BT streaming both work like a charm.

I meant to get the latest connecteddrive update you might need to have that software update.d
