Alcantara seats in US models

The 3 series should offer cloth/alcantara or take a lesson from Hyundai and Kia (and the rest of the world for that matter) and put some ventilated seats on the options' list. The leather seats in SoCal sun are anything but luxurious or comfortable.

I have the Alcantara M Performance steering wheel, and it's definitely harder to keep clean. If nothing else, it keeps me from even thinking about eating food in my car.

These options aren't in the US market because when they are offered, the US market doesn't buy them.

If the previous generation 6MT/RWD/wagon was flying off the shelves we would have it again. If everyone getting M3 got the cloth seats maybe it would be an option in the base model cars...

Yes, that's exactly what I was getting at...supply and demand. No one wants them, so there aren't any.

audi sold 100 S4 avants my model year.

thats' why no 335/M3 wagun. no S4/RS4/S6/RS6 avant.

costs too much to support given revenue coming in.
