2015 Sport Line Sedans Have Chrome Window Trim?!

I didn't see it in the 2015 order guide, and it's not in the description of the Sport Line on the configurator (it still says black high gloss), however it shows chrome trim when you build a Sport Line.

I just jumped on Autotrader and confirmed that 2015 Sport Lines do in fact have chrome trim....(so do "no lines")

I guess M Sport is the only way to get black high gloss trim now!

Yeah, you can add a chrome trim to Sport. It works with the online config. Looks amazing, I always wanted the chrome.

I do not see where, on the online configurator, you can select chrome trim versus black trim. The U.S. configurator does not have this option that I can see. I'd like to know, for certain, if sport line does now include chrome trim. I think chrome looks better.

Sorry mate, I made a mistake: only 4GC has this option, it's in the configurator's Options tab and it's called Matte Chrome Exterior Trim.

See? Now it makes sense shelling an extra $2k

Has anyone confirmed that the 2015 sport lines have chrome window trim? I like it, but it appears that the configurator no longer shows chrome. Does anyone know?

They do for sure...2015's are popping up all over Autotrader and Cars.com and they all have chrome (sport lines).

This is also true for wagons and GT's...

In Canada, I noticed on the configuration tool for the 2015 335 M-Sport's Chrome exterior trim is now standard instead of high gloss black. It's a free change back to HGB though.

Matte chrome exterior trim is now standard on all MY15 3 Series sedans. Only the M Sport's will have shadowline trim

If it is now standard, and wasn't a glitch, why did they remove it from the configurator?
It was on the configurator (showed up in pictures) but was removed over the weekend for some reason. Build a 328i on BMWUSA.Com and you will see what I mean.

Confusing - the configurator now indicates "Black High-Gloss exterior trim" for Sport Line, though when hovering over it the preview vehicle image shows matte chrome trim.

M-Sport indicates "Shadowline."

I love my '12 Sport matte black trim - low maintenance although though if I could pick it I'd go high gloss black. No clue what it was called, it isn't named separately from Sport Line on my build sheet.

The confusion still exists.

On a USA F36 440i xdrive gran coupe non-luxury line, non m-sport line (which I'm assuming means sport line) the window trim is shown as chrome and the air breathers as body color.

The original description of the 4 series sport line is black window trim and black air breathers.
