f30 328I Auto Rough Idle Car Shakes at Stop

Hey Guys,

My f30 328i is shaking at stops lights now the rpm does take a dip still above 500revs. No mods or anything above 2K rev car is fine just at stop lights car shakes and its like gasping for air. Anyone run into this problem taking it in on Friday.

I'm assuming engine misfire...

Just to make sure because someone might ask you. The auto on/off is set at off, right?

Check engine light on?

This could be the beginning of a hpfp (high pressure fuel pump) failure.
Doesn't matter how new or old your car is or how many miles. It can happen.
Used to happen more on n54 engines, but the n55 isn't immune.
There's even a poor guy a new 4 series who already had it happen to him.

I think if You'd use the ASS System (Auto Start Stop) it would be a tad better and more comfortable.. I think its a Fuel Pump Failure..

What was the diagnosis?

Hey guys got the car back today...

Diagnosis Unknown... Things replaced: All spark plugs, All Fuel Injectors, and cataletic converter.

Car runs fine. Bmw service guys said no clue what happen.

Car runs fine now...

2014 brand new 3K miles

FWIW same thing happened to me last year in my 328i around 3k miles in. Dealer replaced all fuel injectors and ran fine afterwards.
