Guys it's the flow rate you need to be looking at not just the psi,

Tboooe I believe there is a adaptor you can get to make it fit.

Squidlyboy...I love the pictures! I will see what I can do! I actually have a big ass gas powered pressure washer also. I should dig that bad boy out and see how it does with my foam lance. See if it makes a big difference or not.

I have to say that I am very impressed/happy with my foam lance using just my electric pressure washer. My gas pressure washer is a pain in the ass to drag out of my back yard shed and bring it around front of my house for washing the cars. It is FAR superior for cleaning pavement and my house. The electric one I keep in my garage in front of my car. I can pull it out and hook it up so quick and easy. No worry about adding gas. It really isn't very good at cleaning pavement but it works great on my cars.

A really powerful PW won't make any difference to the foam you're producing, a good lance and the actual product you're using is more important.

Also you need to consider the actual cleaning agent within the foam, the stronger the cleaning power of the foam the more degradation of your lsp, if you want something kind to your lsp then it won't clean as well, so it's good to have a couple of options when it comes to snow foam.

This is for you Squidlyboy! My wife's MDX was dirty. I gave it a quick wash with my foam lance today. This is my electric pressure washer set up. I didn't have time to drag out my gas washer to compare but I will eventually do that.
Sorry for the piece of shit photo's...I have to head out for a flight and I can't get some of them to rotate? Doesn't matter if I rotate them on my computer or phone it keeps them screwed up. Will fix later...

What foam is that it doesn't seem very thick?

It is a Karcher 1600 psi washer...not sure of the model but got it for a good price at Walmart of all places (hate that store!)

It is a MTM next generation foam cannon (purchased from chemical guys)

I was using chemical guys honeydew snow foam. I add 2 oz to the foam cannon and top up with water.

If you look at the shot of the headlight, the foam goes on pretty thick. If you wipe it with your hand it is thick and foamy. It takes a few minutes to put a coat of foam on the entire MDX. By the time I am finished it does run a bit but it is still fairly thick when I get out the washmitt and give it a scrub.

I compared it to the results chemical guys got on their youtube video. They have some model in a miniskirt foaming up a car. I think my electric washer puts on the foam as thick as their gas powered machine. If not as thick it is VERY close in consistency. At the end of the video, you can see the foam is slowly sliding off the Infiniti on their video. I find I get similar results on my cars.

If it matters, I have a fairly recent coat of Menzerna powerlock sealant on the MDX so the foam runs off a bit more. Right now the paint is smooth and slippery!

You have me thinking of getting a pressure washer, that foam looks good and thick to me. This may be my Springtime gift to myself.
