ICOM A2+B+C or Didan Tuner?

I'm new and not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question, so I apologize if it is not.

Anyway... I just bought my first BMW about a month ago. It's a 2014 328d xDrive. I'm pleased with the stock performance but being a huge computer tech, I like to push the limits and gain access to features and options without the hefty price of a certified BMW dealer or sketchy coder. I already have Rheingold ISTA-D 4.04.12 & ISTA-P 3.61.0.500 fully registered and installed on my external HDD. However with my BMW being newer, I need an ICOM Tool to do anything with it. My question here is what is ISTA software capable of as far as tuning, I know I can use it to code and adjust settings but I'm concerned whether a ICOM or a DIDAN scanner will be more beneficial for the money. The ICOM is around 400$ after shipping, and the DIDAN is around 320$ after shipping. Let me also say that I would need capabilities of not just performance tuning, but coding and diagnostic controls.

Any help would be appreciated.
