Tyre pressure for my winters
Anyone know what pressure I should tell the tyrefitters to put in my winters. They'll be put on the wheels before I get the car you see.
335d - 18" 415s with Conti TS830 Runflats. Square fwiw. Spare chocolate éclair in the fridge for the first answer

Won't it say on the driver's B pillar?
Clearly I don't expect the eclair for that!

I haven't got a B-pillar or indeed the car it's attached to yet!
I hope I'll get the car next week, but tyres are going on this weekend. Hence the question. Richard, please, pretty please can you have a look. (the éclair appears to have been consumed, so it's an out of date yoghurt or half a cabbage, you choose!)

Can look once wife's back having stolen my car this evening. Apparently 'really like driving it as can upset male twats in their go-fast mobiles. It's hilarious in Sport + mode now you've changed the tyres'. Hmmmmm.... Perhaps I should never got her into getting racing licence and racing cars....

Ah that happened whilst I was typing my response to GTSussex!
Erm, yep I think so. Is it, er, 2.4 bar? the set on the right at the top? Blimey they made that complicated! None the wiser to be honest!

Well glad it's not just me who didn't understand that. What we need is a really clever forum member to decode this for us...

You said you had 18's, so it the the one on the top left of that pic, second line... you then have options depending on how loaded the car is

Bingo! that's the breakthrough I needed, thanks.
Oh and tengocity went straight to the solution, thanks. Oh and the triangle = front etc. bit the Zooberoo explained, thanks Got there in the end... so it's the second one down on the left for me: [no triangle or circle as I'm square] 225/45 R18 95V M+S XL with 3 people = 2.8bar on the front and 3.0bar on the back. Thanks fellas

I know I am probably being thick here, but why would it not be the top one on the right?
That also appears to be a square 18" setup with winter tyres but with a lower speed rating. Not sure why different speed rated tyres would have a vastly different pressure. |

Steddy man if you look at the top right spec box...this is an 18"setup with a lower load and speed rating tyre fitted.(91Y)

I think it's taking into account the pressures at lower temperature.
The correct pressures are 2.8-3.0 on the fronts and 3.0-3.5 on the rears - depending on the load. |

I think mine are under inflated as they aren't that high. Will have to stop at the garage in the morning. Hopefully that is why the Pirelli ScottoZero's have been handling so crap.
