However, by the fact that you're showing all the cash to BMW and allowing it to be moved at one time to a third party escrow account, that I can't take the money back from, this is why they lower the MF, it lowers their risk. Then, to them, its treated like receiving a monthly payment of everything with taxes included in it, when it autopays BMWFS each month. Basically, there are only two changes 1) MF is lowered 2) Instead of me keeping the cash in my own account that I have access to, the money is moved up front into an ESCROW account from which Autopay then renders the usual monthly fee. So, it's just like figuring a normal monthly lease, but with the difference being you're figuring it with a different MF. My question as this point is what exactly will my final MF be. |

I'm not trying to leave you in the dark. Just still at work and don't have the emails or links handy. And I haven't seen an official contract put together for this yet. |

Everything I've read here and in other places does offer a great support to your positioning. I understand why BMW would be interested in getting your money upfront, but where is your protection for a total loss, CA emails notwithstanding? And what is your financial benefit by front loading the lease? I understand a cash flow is not your concern. You know as well as I do, sales people may think that they know everything, but in most cases they don't. The biggest protection that we have as consumers is self-awareness; reading small print, researching online and seeking advice from others. Thus, let know once you get all that promises and calculations in writing. |

GOLFFRR, Can you or David chime in on the discussion we were having concerning pre-paid lease. 328AL is concerned about a total loss, but I've been told/read that, whatever part of the lease wasn't used in that case will be returned from the escrow account.
Also, I've heard conflicting accounts, can you get both the pre-pay .00080 MF reduction and also use the .00049 MSD reduction together? Also, what other issues/advantages are there to doing prepay? Any feedback would be helpful, because it's less common, it seems there is a fair amount of misinformation out there on this subject. |

Sales Support Rates (meaning BMW FS monthly program rates) ARE available for Pre-Pay Lease contracts. However, in order to get the 80 bps reduction, regional non-sales support rates must be used. The Multiple Security Deposit program is not available on Pre-Pay Lease contracts. I"ll find out about the gap coverage and how it pays out on the pre-pay lease Monday. Have a great weekend!

So am I correct to assume that there is no Build Out credit on the 14' 335 models? The only available incentives are the Loyalty Cash ($500) and the UDE ($1000)? Even then it's getting tight to actually use the UDE at this moment if you do a special order!!!
14' 335 - $500 Loyalty & $1000 UDE 14' 435 - $500 Loyalty & $1000 UDE 14' AH3 - $500 Loyalty & $3500 Eco Credit & $1000 UDE Does this sound right? |
