The only thing I see true merit in is the suspension. The F30 rolls a bit no matter the configuration. The brakes on the 335 are beefy enough for those who are not really abusing it on the track, maybe upgrade the pads for $250. I see no point in 20" wheels on 3 series, even if they are forged. So instead of doing an aftermarket suspension, you have something that BmW engineered. Everything else is just decoration or unneeded.

Otherwise, as your list crosses $5k, it just make more sense to buy an M3 and be done with it.

Garage List
2013 BMW  [0.00]
The brakes look really nice one would think it would be included on the M sport model but no, $2700 extra plus labor. BMW seems to have taken a page from Porsches playbook and offer options galore that can double the price of base car.

I like the write-up on the suspension upgrades....but it's still no E90 ;-)

I feel like that M Performance brakes should be standard of offered as a factory option $2000 plus is insane. Atleast give us a fixed brembo rear caliper to match the front. But BMW puts a rear sliding caliper even on the M5 lol.

The CF mirror caps and rocker panel decals alone must add 2-3 MPH to top end.

They look quite nice but 15k extra hahahahaha you've got to be kidding me!

Who in their right mind would pay that? And worse why buy a car that needs so many things changing on it just to get it the way you want it?

Just buy a B3 or an M3 or even a Cayman, they will all drive better and look better than this. And they arrive ready to drive the way they should do.

The 15k is a made up number that does not take into account resale value of parts replaced and reduced labor costs if getting everything done at the same time. The number also does not take into account deals that are commonly offered on these parts.

Also consider that you can get the base 335 for about 40k after discounts and add everything if you are so inclined. Generally you are going to find people picking a few items on this list.

This is good for the market. Nothing beats retaining your warranty while having a little fun right
