Standard on US spec 335i, so you won't come across it in the configurator. You can add it to a 320i & 328i as an option.

I have a 335 and I did not look at a 328, hence I never saw the package. I thought I was going insane when everyone started mentioning it!

Thanks KORALLROT for clearing that up. I knew for sure the options for the 328 showed the required lighting package to get the lighted door handles, but I was not sure if a few who said they had it, might have gotten the lights accidentally.

I knew about the handle LEDs but really appreciated having them when reversing to parallel park at night; passenger side mirror flips down, light shows where the curb is...no curb rash, cool, thinks I. Have the xenon/adaptive option, so not sure if the handle lights are part of this package.

Edit: did a little reading of the USA 3-series brochure/booklet and the handle LEDs are mentioned together with the Ambiance Lights, so this appears to be a standard feature for at least the US-spec cars.

LED door handle puddle lights are on all US spec 328i & 335i's as far as I know.

I am USA. I was wrong about the door handle lights. I just checked the bmwusa.com site and the door handle lights are standard on the 328i. How I came to my thoughts about the lights is a few weeks before my car was delivered, I was at my dealer and a person was having their car delivered. When he got out of his car, I noticed the door handle lights and mentioned them. The guy said it was part of the lighting package and since it was such a nice feature, I never questioned that it was part of the Lightning Package.

Thanks for the education. A person should not say for sure, unless they have read the words themselves (ha).

Choose the split screen and have the Sport Displays at one side and the analogue BMW Widgets clock on the other. That looks pretty cool!

I found it today. It was in the options of what to show on the split screen. BMW Widgets options were clock, digital clock/weather, weather, Panoramio or hot pictures of bikini models in HD. I went for the clock

I never use cruise control, but with the HUD i will simply cause its cool as i just found out/ you get a little green icon, and speedometer also has a green tick mark that spins to where you've set your speed.
