Remote start for US 328?

I live in a place that is cold. Really cold. I have a heated garage at home, but am not so fortunate at work.
Has anyone had a remote start installed in their BMW? Most of the businesses here that specialize in such work specifically exclude BMW and a number of other European cars, for reasons that aren't clear to me.
I'd love to hear from anyone who has a remote starter installed. Especially grateful for brand name and pricing.
Thanks!

I am not sure if you can opt for the option "auxiliary heating" on a BMW, but this is exactly what you want straight out of the factory and I also think it can be retrofired. check out the realoem.com website

Is there a remote start option... I missed it. With a black interior and 100 degree days, it sure would be nice to start the A/C a few min. before getting in.... I have it on my other vehicle and it is great!

Depending on your region/country, the BMW remote app on android/iphone does have a preset temp option, where you can use your phone to turn on ac/heater on your car remotely.

Search for "parked car ventilation"

Couldn't you just jump in the car, start it, lock it and then just run inside?

That's what I do. Though unlike Alaska there's not much chance of serious frostbite and slow death in Yorkshire.
