Information from BMW ED
Long Time BMW owner, new to forum. First ED...
Just ordered my 2015 428 GC!. Got a delivery date from my CA of September 8. Asked for written confirmation and CA told me that I would get an email from ED at BMW with details and contact info. Been a few days... Anyone know how long it takes them to respond? |

Once your rep submits the date you would like to do ED, ED takes about 5-7 working days to process the request and get back to your rep.

Additional Info...
Did that already. CA has verbally given me a date and time at the Welt for delivery. I also have the invoice indicating that the order has been accepted by BMW in Germany.
I asked CA about the Lufthansa discount program, etc. That is what is supposed to be coming in the packet as well as written confirmation of my delivery date and time. Didn't want to make air reservations based on a verbal date... |

That Lufthansa discount is a joke. You MAY save $100 on a ticket. Considering how much prices have gone up (at least from Houston), it wasn't much of anything. I guess beggars can't be choosers. It'll pay for a nights stay since I'm taking the wife and kid.

ED Package
Well... I agree that 5-15% is not like the old companion ticket program!
In any event, I will contact my CA by the end of the week if I have not gotten the confirmation. That would be one week from his verbal confirmation of the date and time. Will probably try to use points for an upgrade anyway. Thanks for the reply, Bob |
