Can't comment on the Amazon grills, but the E46 guys have been happy with the grills available through AvinUSA. They have them for the F30, too:

Don't want used? They're always going on sale from time to time in the market place. I just bought a set for my friend for $70. Dual slated black ones.

If you don't mind aftermarket - go with JBSpeed (forum sponsor) I have his Gloss Black MStyle grilles with painted metallic MStripes on my F32. Excellent quality & perfect fitment

You can get them without stripes

My car in Mineral Gray is shown on his site with grilles installed

Exactly what I did. Perfect fitment and not flimsy. Prefer the single slat over dual slat look as well.

I have the set from Amazon - well, the F30 versions. They took about 3 weeks to get here from China, but I feel they were easily worth the price. Not 2 piece like OEM, but not sure they need to be as the clips all lined up. I wouldn't pay more for any aftermarket since they all come from China anyway, and the difference in price is profit. I need to get some better pics but you can get the idea here...

Cool....yeah I figure they all pretty much come from one or two different makers in China...so I ordered some $56 dollar M style ones from highly rated local eBay seller due to the quickest shipping...should have them in a couple days.

I've got a dual slate from Ebay before, I'm sure they are both produced in China. The build quality is alright for the price you pay, they are not as sturdy as the OEM one but its definitely strong enough for its purpose. The only downside to it is the paint, the finish is not as smooth as OEM's.
