From what I can tell, Audis are still heavy in the front. They don't have the weight balance of BMW's. If your wife never drives over 7/10's, she will love the comfort and the style, but my impression is that the F30 Sport line with the adjustable shocks is something that you and she should look at. The seats are new and improved, and your wife can set the shocks for comfort, while you can set them for sport. There is a reason that Car and Driver chose the BMW 3 as one of the 10 best cars, and did not choose the S4.

I liked Audi's interior better (quality and design)
Audi has less room in the back.
Audis handling (on the street) was not bad.
Audi 7 speed double clutch was ok
Audi's are too expensive anyway (residual was I think 53%) and money factor was ok
I have to say San Diego Audi sucks big time. Very bad customer service especially if you are coming from BMW.
