It's double sided tape with about 4 or 5 screws. At least that's how I did mine and I have not a single issue.

Did you have to drill holes? I want to do it but don't want to drill anything.

I just purchased a 335i and I want to do this to my car as well but I am unsure what exactly I need to complete the look. It is an M sport so I think I just need the decals but I don't want to do that and I actually need the rocker panel blades. Any help would be appreciated! I can post a picture of my car if that will help figure out what I need to do.

Guys probably I'm in the wrong forum - anyway there's not a lot top read about decal and this thread seems the most valuable one.

Hi guys had a question regarding adding the m performance decals, do i just have to put on a sticker or add panels?

I have a, 2017 M140i

Here's a side view of my car.

And here's the decals I order from eBay:

you just put those stickers on the rocker panels. i would recommend cleaning the panels and claying and making sure they are absolutely smooth prior to install. it may be easier to take them off and do it on a table as well. having someone to help will make it easier as well to center and align. I honestly wouldnt expect that vinyl to hold up that well as ebay ships thinner vinyl than what BMW does

Thanks wdeerfield!

Indeed I'm gonna need some extra hands on this.

I will pull off today the stickers on a table and give a impression how they look like.

Do you know in terms of quality difference if that's really evident when you've like original BMW decals and from other parties?

Best,
J

It is the thickness of the material.

Guess BMW original ones are better. But pricey!
