I'm in Little Rock...I bought the first E90 sold at North Point in 2005...a 330i Sport 6MT. It was the launch car (the only reason they had a manual). It's been a GREAT car and I just gave it to my 16 year-old son late last year. It now has 170,000 miles.

I now own a 335i Msport 6MT (see signature/profile). I'm pleased with it overall, but it is NOT the dynamic chassis/driver's car that is the E90.

p.s. North Point BMW is moving to an all new facility this Saturday on Colonel Glenn...I guess I should hold my impressions until it's open, but it looks decidedly unimpressive from the outside. Should Kia really have nicer dealerships?

I have a 2013 EBII 335i and am up in Jacksonville. Do you know of any independent BMW shops around Little Rock?

Yes. One Way Automotive on 43rd street in North Little Rock...just off Landers across from McCain Mall. Ask for Dallas Miller. They have a BMW Certified Tech and also service Minis. They do good work.

By just about every measure, unless there's something specific about state assignments on Bimmerpost (which I couldn't find).

Admittedly, Arkansas occupies a unique geographic spot...it's southern, but not the Deep South (LA, MS, AL, GA), it's definitely not Southwestern (OK, TX), and certainly not mid-western (MO, KS). It a bit of an enigma, played out even within the confines of the state.

I asked because I'm pretty sure that the E9x section had Arkansas in with Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and other nearby states as part of "Southwest". Seems like they should have some sort of "Midwest" or "South Central" section to cover those "in between" states. I used to live in TX when I had my E92 and could swear I saw posts from AR folks in "Southwest".

Fair enough, but I couldn't find any evidence of Arkansas really in either forum. Lots of BMW activity in our state, just not in these forums it seems.

Motorsports Authority in Conway is about the only place I'd trust in the Little Rock-ish area.
