Is it possible to start a new thread for all the file requests? The coding parts gets lost in between!

I have a 2013, and I'm just starting the coding process. I've noticed that my car has different CAFD files in most all of the modules than the psdzdata that I downloaded. Does anyone have updated files? For example, in the HU_CIC module, my car is looking for "cafd_000000f9-007_003_007". Thanks.

Will doing any of this throw any codes or warnings on start up?
Can someone post a you tube vid of them performing the changes?

My cable arrives this weekend and i think i have all the software needed. Why is it so much data? 15gb
Its not any maps update right?

FYI, these are the required files for 2013 build F30s..

HU CIC: cafd_000000f9-007_003_007
FEM_BODY: cafd_00000794-004_122_007
REM 01: cafd_000007a1-005_022_028

15 Gb compressed. Extracted PSdZData is 20Gb, and gets bigger with every release as more files are added.

The real cause of the size is the SWFL files, which represents 16 of that 20 Gb. You will actually likely never need or use them as they are for flashing new firmware on ECU's.

Thanks, shawnsheridan got me hooked up. So far, I've got all of the documented features for the F30 coded and tested.

Now, the search is on for the elusive feature (It must exist!) that allows the car to remember the last driver experience mode setting. (Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport, or Sport+). I've skimmed through all of the modules, but nothing stands out yet. I was hoping for something like 'FahrenErfahrungsSchalter' or 'FahrenErfahrungsTaste', FES, or FET, but nothing of the sort exists (Deutsch uses either 'Schalter' [Switch] or 'Taste' [Button] in to sometimes indicate 'switch'). I did see some English descriptions for 'Driving Experience Switch', but those were only associated with something called CLC and BLC; neither one were memory-related. I'm pretty sure that the features have to exist in the FEM_BODY or HU_CIC modules; everything else seems to be pretty specific in its function. Anyone else having any luck?

I just went back and coded the mirrors and Auto Start Stop and it was successful this time. I think I took too long the first time and the car turned off before or during the CODE FDL portion.

Having this issue as well, the other modules coded fine - verified & tested (HU_CIC, REM_01).

Is you CAFD also showing to be renamed like CAFD_FFFFFFFF_255_255_255?

It was showing the correct version (the new one) in e-sys. So I could read the cafd file and modify it; just couldn't commit the changes / Code FDL.

Will report back later when I try it.

I don't think so. In some cases, a CAFD file will not run inside the older PSdZData, presumably because of dependencies on other files (.dll, .jar, etc.) in the new PSdZData. So, 47.4 seems like the best bet right now.

need dvd motion, auto windows/mirrors on lock..and most of all last setting for auto start/stop engine.

Depends on your build... Even '12's had different CAFD files. When I attempted to code Maz335's, and Pur1's it failed because we needed updated CAFD's.

Only way to know is to grab the latest files, and try it.
