I'm really happy I found this somewhat old thread. I too am unhappy with my 2015 335ix OEM suspension and want a firm, controlled ride without slamming the car to the ground but don't care for adjustable coilovers.

mtenhoven, how do you like your new setup now that you've had it for a few months? Is the ride just right for the streets? And how much was installation for your setup?

And for those who kept their OEM springs but added the Bilstein B6s, has the handling improved a decent amount while keeping your stock ride height?

Personally, I might go the OP's route and get the ACS springs and the B6s. Thanks guys!

Great price! Which vendor did you go with for the B6s? I priced them out at Tirerack and they are easily $100 more combined. Summitracing was just a little better. Thanks again.

I sourced the B6's from AJUSA.

I am still enjoying the setup and would still recommend it. For the installation, I used a local independent shop. I don't recall the actual cost, but I believe they charged 1 hour under the factory book rate. (Whatever that time was...

)

Thanks, mtenhoven! I appreciate your answers. I just realized that Eibach is the actual OEM for the ACS springs. I had great results from their line of Pro-Kit springs on my 1997 Camry from back in the day so I might actually get those instead for as they are about $100 cheaper.

I also thank mtenhoven, as I am also installing ACS springs and B6 Struts and shocks. Can't stand the bouncy ride any longer. Only 28,000 mi on my 2013 328xi, live in Michigan. No such thing as potholes here, more like craters. Should be done in about 2 weeks.

I just went with Dinan-b6 route trust me the bouncy ride is gone. The car is stiff handling wise you think your driving a completely different car. My rear dropped more then my front which is ok as the xdrive gap was killing me. Overall this is a must do for our cars you wont regret it.

I had my ACS springs and B6 Struts and Shocks installed yesterday. It took a little time to get the alignment correct as the right rear was toe in bad, maybe from before the install. The factory right rear shock was completely blown. All in all the ride has firmed up and the drop is subtle. So far the car is flat in cornering, like it's on rails and the bounce is gone. I need to dial back the air pressure a bit as currently all 4 non run flat tires are at 35 psi. Thanks again to mtenhoven for the recommendation of this setup. It will be easier to maneuver around the moonscape come spring. Now I can focus on installing the new angel eye projector headlights.

Any idea if you are running the stock rear bump stops with your setup ?

I found with b6 & acs when settled down the rear was sat on the bump stops. the acs springs dropped around 25mm on the rear and the stock springs only have 25mm gap for the bump stops.
