How much did you pay for tinting your windows?

I have a 328 Got a quote for just the back windows and it was a little high, 300 for the back window 75 for the quarter window and 125 for the back passenger window.... those were per window... 600 bucks.... LLumar CTX film... what did you guys get yours tinted for?

I just got a quote for my car at $215. $50 more for a better heat resistant tint.

$200-450 seems the range, but it depends on where you're located & brand/line of tint.

3M ceramic tint at West Coast Car Audio in Elk Grove, CA. Had the 3M logos on the film to prove it was legit. These were wiped off after install by them. Did not include sunroof or windshield.

$350 out the door.

This was their mid level tint. Guranteed for life at any 3M installer in America (apparently).

They did quote me some super fancy cutting edge stuff at about $800 if I remember correctly. I'll save that for my M3 Im buying in a couple years

And then there was the house tint which was $200 out the door with a 3 year warranty, I believe.

Went with 35% all around, for what its worth.

That's a ridiculous number for that work. $200-300 should be the range for an F30.

Agreed it normally should be around $200-$300 at most.

IMHO...

Three bills for ceramic 3M at a reputable shop is "fair." Whatever fair is these days. Seems to be the going rate. If you have a lease get the cheap stuff.

$250 for ceramic 35% up front and limo in rear. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with a shade lighter in the rear because I can't see shit at night in the rear view. Good thing I have a back up camera. It looks cool but its too much. But yeah, $250, lifetime warranty blah blah.

Maybe its just Cali then with the outrageous pricing on tint. Must have called four places and $350 no tax was the best I could find...

How’s the 35 % look/ can you see at night through those windows? That’s what I was going to put all in the back

This is 35% at night. Perfect amount of darkness and no issues seeing out back.

Mine was 375 in San Jose. California prices are higher for everything.

There are cheap options but I went for the highest quality. I got the cheaper stuff on my old honda and it was great but I wanted the ceramic on the bmw
