328 spark plug gap?
Anyone know what the spark plug gap is supposed to be for the N20? I bought plugs from my local dealer the other day, and I know they are pre-gapped, but I like to check for peace of mind. Surprisingly, the spec isn’t listed in the Bentley manual.
Edit: According to the NGK website, it is .032” Does that sound right? Last edited by IraHayes; 06-20-2018 at 10:52 AM.. |

TIS makes no mention of a plug gap. I didn't check the Bentley manual.
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...d-spark-plugs/ I've always just installed the multi-prong NGK Iridium plugs I've used in the E46 & E39 without measuring, but after inspecting that they appeared "OK."

For a stock car, around 0.03" is normal, so your 0.032" would be just fine.
