Better Deal: 2016 328 now or 2017 at end of December?
Just as the subject says above... If I wait until the end of Dec., the 2016's will be gone. Just wondering what is likely to be a better deal: get the 2016 now or a 2017 version at the end of Dec? Thanks.

Depends what you're doing. If you're leasing then the 2016 now. If you're purchasing then the 2017 is pretty good right now, plus you're a year ahead of depreciation down the road. If you're doing a select, same deal.

Buy 2016, major changes to the No Cost Scheduled Maintenance Program: http://www.bmwblog.com/2016/01/07/st...d-maintenance/
In short, changed from 4 to 3 year coverage, brake pads & clutch no longer covered Buy 2017 if you really want the new B48 engine, need a sliding arm rest and/or apple carplay and/or wifi hotspot and/or wireless charging

For leasing, I don't believe the new maintenance program matters. You're most likely not changing brakes during the lease term and the lease term is only 3 years anyway. I think it definitely matters for owning the vehicle. Agreed?

OP - If you are going manual, clutch might be a consideration...I prefer the ZF auto. Also, grab a Sport 328 or do the sport trans 2TB coding. ZF shifts great for me. |
