Change to non run-flats?
I have a 2013 328i xdrive with factory run-flats. They have a few nails in them and I hear quite a bit of tire noise so time for new tires. Should I replace with run-flats or switch to something else? They do ride a bit hard but I'm concerned about not having a spare.
Also, can you put non run-flats on a car that came with them? Thanks. |

I'd go non-runflats... unless you are really in a place where flat tires happen often.

I personally like the F3x with RFT's, especially non-sport package all-season tires like the Bridgestone Driveguard or even the original Pirelli P7, and see no reason to replace them with a go-flat. If you decided to put go-flats on the car, nothing needs to change, although the tire pressure may need fiddling to get good wear and performance. |
