Question on folding & auto-dimming mirrors

I'm wondering if anyone out there has folding mirrors and has figured out how to switch between having the left mirror dip automatically on selecting reverse and having it stay put.

I like the dipping feature when reverse parking, but I have to reverse into my garage most nights and it's a tight fit and I need the mirror to stay up. Is there a simple way of de-activing and reactivating?

Thanks
Dave

Use your mirror selector switch to enable the drop down passenger mirror feature.

There is a switch to toggle drivers or passengers wing mirror adjustment.

When it's switched to drivers adjustment and in reverse the passenger mirror will lower, if it's switched to passengers adjustment then nothing happens in reverse.

It's a great feature. Unfortunately missing from the F31 loaner I have. I have to park on the street and there are some evil kerbs!
