Be careful when you place the magnets it's annoyingly as hell to try and move them if you get it wrong when you stick them on. Easy install otherwise we have them in all the cars. So before putting the cover plate on make sure you test operation a few times.

BTW you'll like this GF caught me singing wagons, wagons uber alles to the tune of the anthem while washing the F31 the other day. She just dropped her head and walked away.

Thank for the head up! I also remember reading about sealing with silicone because of water ingress... any thoughts there?

Hey you have to 'whistle while you work'. My wife thinks I'm nuts with the fanatical cleaning..., like wiping the tail pipes.... to which she said 'you're amazing ' - in a voice that was impressed but just couldn't believe someone would do that :

I didn't the housing seems pretty tight and replacing the battery later would be more difficult. I've had them a year on one car and no problems.

FWIW I'm also generally not a fan of sealing stuff myself for fear of unintended consequences and trapping moisture in when otherwise it could evaporate out.

Whenever I wash the cars I always shoot water at high velocity directly into the gap between the sill and the door to blast out the soap and even with that torture test still no issue.

My price - $500.00

keep you all posted.
My god that's terrible how'd the oil leak start?
according to bmw actually i didn't have a oil problem i had "lower end knocking". my car just got a approved for a brand new engine! (Zero miles on it).

Extended warranty company I have tried to put me in a used engine but BMW Park Avenue brought the price down to 12k for the new engine and my warranty company took the offer (used engine was 10k). All together with parts and 40 hours of labor ahead total amount is $16,800.

I am only responsible for $500. I guess in a way I came out very good. Now I have a 2014 435i xDrive with 0 miles lol.

Car should be ready by next Thursday keep all posted and thanks for concerns, thoughts, and prayers!
Who's your extended warranty company?

Looks great! Doesn't it make washing/drying your car a breeze? If you did the wheels the brake dust isn't so bad anymore. I love having the coating on my car. Which coating did you go with?

I cheated on the F31 today and drove a 4S Panamera Wagon. Christ - I should not have done that. I will say that at 3x the price the Porsche is definitely not 3x the car and the F31 has nothing to be embarrassed about but goddamn the boys in Stuttgart know what the fuck they're doing.

Impulsive tint job, was around the area for a bite and decided to drop it off since the shop was across the street; 20% ceramic tints. Amazing how much of a difference aesthetically tints make.
