I chose the Rials

as I had great luck with them on my 2010 e92. Easy to clean and this time 18's with anthracite colour. sorry, car and rims are dirty but gives an idea. Got the 225/45 18's LM 60 but kind of wish I'd gone with staggered set up. Too late now, these are fine for 5 months. Hniel/Ontario

225/45R18 240 XL NON-Run Flat on 18x8 wheels. They really are perfect. Drove the car to the dealership today...drove great, handled well... only a little noisier than the summers. Anyway, everyone at the dealership was checking out the wheels... Here are some bigger pics..

Elbrus I08's on Sottozero II Non-RFTs, 225/45/18" setup from Tire rack.

Too bad there's no gas available otherwise I'd be out testing their traction in this mush.

I dig those wheels. Thing is, they will be a PITA to clean and its cold out there in winter.

That's why they're dark...don't plan on worrying about scrubbing them. They're knock-offs. Whatever the car wash men can't get off will stay there until Spring.

Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner, a foam brush (painters), and it's done in minutes!

Great choice...mine missed all the snow because it is sitting in the nice warm dealer service area... was supposed to get the "ASS removal" but the software on the car is newer than the dealer had and they could not get updated software from BMW! Go figure. So they gave me an X3 and I was fine leaving mine there nice and clean.

Here are mine finally. I went with 18" MAM RS2 wheels (German) with Pirelli Sottozero II 225/45/18 non-run flat tires.

How did you get 18" LM60s in RFT? They do not make them in our required tire size?

Pete - they're undersized @ 225/40 rather than /45. Not ideal, but I picked these up used from an E90 owner with about 500 miles on them, wayyyy less than I'd have had to pay new from tirerack.

18 x 8 Motegi Racing MR118's in black with BMW center caps ordered from Amazon.com. Tires are Michelin Pilot Alpin PA-3's in 225/45R18. Ride is a little smoother than my stock 19's with the Bridgestone S001's. No vibration with either these or the OEM wheels & tires...

Updated shot with OEM Center Caps. Really helps break up the black and will go nicely with the EB2.

Not on the car yet, but these 18" rims and the Pirelli Sottozero IIs will replace the 19"s during the winter months. Rims were not overly expensive, were similar to the stock 403's, and allowed for the BMW caps. The combo came mounted, balanced, complete with TPM from Tirerack for about $1700.

Can you message me and let me know what those wheels are called?

They're the Elbrus I08's on Tire rack.
