Now you see it, now you don't...
Following my little encounter with the kerb when avoiding a fellow driver who was on the phone, the results look pretty good.
BEFORE... AFTER... To the untrained eye, you can't really see signs of a repair. Whether that's still the case in 9 or more months time who knows, but the work is guaranteed for 12 months. The work carried out was a 'Retail Wheel Refurbishment' at my local dealer. £60 + £5 materials + VAT making £78 in all, and they had the car for a day.

I chewed up the alloy on my old 330d too rather frustratingly so took it to my dealer who did a fantastic job just like that!
You'll be pleased to know that for the next year I owned it, the repair remained absolutely perfect and you'd never know!!

They hoovered out the inside but I did tell them not to worry about the exterior when I left it with them. Visions of some gritty sponge that's been dropped on the ground several times, being applied to my bodywork by the lad they pay £1 an hour to 'wash' cars

Have to say I'm really pleased with the result, and at £78 (inc VAT) feels like a bargain!
Yes I used Chandlers, but their Brighton (Portslade) dealership as it's nearer to me. Think they've got three - Brighton, Hailsham and Littlehampton. Good luck
