I just installed mine a few minutes ago.
Very easy to do, just route the cables inside the corrugated plastic.
Before installing please install EWG firmware and put the values suggested on the BT post.
I forgot to double click the start button and got drivetrain malfunction error but that is documented also on the post.

Ok, now to the impressions:
Power is verryyyy smooth, better than before and stronger in high rpm.
I am running map1,downpipe and 91oct total gas and feels great!
Recommended to all of you with EWG.

Terry great job !

Have you logged it? Not just to check if it works properly, it's also interesting to see how boost tracks target compared to logs without the EWG connector. Especially from my logs for map 2, I think there should be more improvement to come and look forward to their next firmware.

Is the FF connector still required in order to install the EWG harness?

I will correct which I said map 2 was not faster than map 1. Map 2 seems about 0.2s better than map 1 in 0-60.

I am also thinking that map 2 equates to the stock 335 in 0-60 and 1/4 miles, not map 1. What do you guys think?

Guys,

Please check boost level for those who have the ewg installed and make sure it doesnt overboost.

Mine got overboosted to 24 constantly with map 1 and 25.3 at one point causing JB to shut itself down.

Becareful people.

Did you resolve the issue? Before the EWG firmware with wastegate adaption=0, I've seen peak boost of 24psi on map 1 too (it was scary as hell!). With EWG_5 and the connector, mine's fine now.

I agree that everyone should datalog it after installation.

A workaround for this issue is to lower FF but this may lead to lower boost levels at higher rpm. Do you have decat dp? Post some logs so we can better assist you

I believe I need the laptop connected to do some datalogging right? I just connect the laptop for firmware upgrades and to check current map bit never done datalogging. What is the correct procedure to a successful datalog?

After it's "connected" to a laptop on JB4 tool, you simply start log (or press F1) and drive while it's connected. A USB extension cable helps. Usually people do 3rd to 4th gear pull. Then hit Stop and Display (F2) and Export Log (F7).

I am actually the other way around. My boost go up after I installed the ewg and latest firmware. Got it resolved by setting ff to 1 as advised by Terry.

And people wonder why rods are being thrown and what not. you put to much trust in some tune/tuner.

yea but it's safe in map 0 which I'm running for a period of time till i take a log & see how it goes. that's why i refused to get a tuner with no customer support. what if it happened with AFE ? how would you know or even adjust it. it's still same principle of tuning so it might happen.

Of course, every aftermarket mod is a potential risk, but theres a huge difference between a filter and tunes/piggybacks. I personally donīt think theres a risk with bumping up the power with maybe 20-30 hp, but itīs the reliability of the software deterrs me. and we just saw an example here of where it bugged out..
