Fuel Pump Campaign B160616?

I just got my windshield replaced at the BMW dealer and they said my 2012 (mfg. 12/2011) F30 335i was subject to a fuel pump recall, which surprised me. I knew of the HPFP issues on previous models and the recall for some 2014+ models, but not for my vehicle. It is listed as:

Campaign B160616 Electric In-Tank Fuel Delivery Unit
It contains 16-11-7-243-975 Supply Module and 2 o-rings.

I did a forum search and internet search but could not find anything specific to the campaign.

Does anyone know the story on this? Is this just an expansion of the recall on the later models?

That is the same fuel pump recall I had on my car (2014 435xi/F32 - mfg 8/13) when I brought it in for service this Spring. Same SIB 160616 with the following parts:

16 11 7 243 975 :B1-Supply module
16 11 7 188 567 :B1BIRR-O-ring

I noticed several threads here about the issue that were both pre-2014 and 2014+ and they all appear to be the same for f3x models, but not sure how early it goes. Oddly enough I plugged my VIN into one of those recall websites and no recalls were shown for my car, but when I showed up at the dealer for an oil change they brought this to my attention.

Same here. 2014 335i. No notice of recall, nor does it show up here:
https://www.bmwusa.com/safety-recalls.html
...but they did the pump replacement a couple weeks ago when in for CPO inspection (bought it off lease).

I got a letter in the mail for my 2015 F30 N55 RWD, Mfg 8/14. It said there wasn't a recall and BMW was extending the warranty to like 10years/120k (not certain on the mileage) and also offered to reimburse me if I had it replaced out of my own pocket.
