I'm thinking realoem.com may have incorrect info. Maybe.

There weren't any AH manufactured prior to July 2012, to my knowledge. There were some AH5 cars before then, so maybe they used the same battery at some point very early on, and now BMW wants to make sure you only but that newer one in the AH3? Who knows.
pre-production models maybe? When you go to the PC you may see a few pre-production models. I drove in a 2013 M5 prototype that had 2012 electronics inside. Car was built in 3/2012 if I recall correctly.

I would have never guessed there would be a transmission change this early on. Sure were a lot of changes for 11/12 cars... steering, motor electronics, transmission, etc. Makes me glad I waited
Lets sure hope they got the changes right. Changes can be good and not so good. Ever hear the line "fix one thing and break two more"...

I'll keep my fingers crossed when I test drive the 11/2012 335i that should arrive to dealer in another week. If its not good, I just may buy out my E90 MSport lease, put a BMW extended warranty on it and wait for the 2015 LCI. I've got low miles and car has been trouble free. It feels like a new car and the N54 is just soooo sweet!

The list of changes for 11/2012 onward has to number in the dozens. I reviewed several control modules, the audio amplifier, as well as the aforementioned parts. All changed 11/2012. As you pointed out, some (but not even half) will change again with 07/2013. Maybe they just switched to a different supplier for several components with 11/2012 production?

One odd thing, both the 6.5" and 8.8" Central Information Displays (aka Nav screens) change 12/2012. Weird time for part change....

Aw, come on you know you want something new. Besides the E9x feels positively ancient when you drive around in a loaded F30 for a while

Sorry for the Off Topic fellas.... we need some more pics of those AH3 M-sports!

This could very well just be changing LCD suppliers. They could be going to one of A123's friends in China. If they went to a high density pixel LCD (aka Retina) that would be cool, but I'm betting not. More info on a small infotainment screen would lead to more driver distraction and we know the current CIC doesn't support HD panels.

Well, my E90 was in for a service visit and the F30 328i loaner was good, but felt kinda low end. Not sure how to describe it. Yes, it was a base car, but it just felt OK, not great. I recall when I had my E46 330i and I got an E90 328i loaner I was excited for an E90. Just seems weird this time.

Maybe it was the beige Leatherette interior? Not sure.

Steering for sure was a letdown. Then again it was not a Sport with DHP.....Just dunno until the car arrives and I test drive it.

On a positive note, I got 28MPG over the 3 days.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming....

AH3 is F30h. It damn well better be applicable, as my CA gave me a purchase order with a price that includes the $1K USAA discount.

I'm not going to bring it up. I go into to do the financing in 3 weeks. I already have a very specific purchase agreement with all of the prices etc. listed. I already have a deposit on the car.

I'll of course be interested to hear what you find out.

Garage List
2013 BMW 335i  [0.00]
What models are included in the 2012 BMW Domestic Military Program?
All new MY12 and MY13 BMW models with the exception of the X1 are eligible with the incentive as per the attached incentive templates.

PER BMW's Bulletin. Where does it say the AH3 is not supported?

Doesn't the "free" options included with drivers assistance package and the cold weather package? So the question is if one doesn't order these 2 packages, can the options be ordered free still?

If you get the CW package, then the "free" heated steering wheel is redundant. However, a lot of people (including me) just get the $500 heated front seat option because we hate the look/action of those headlight squirters. In this situation, the heated steering wheel is indeed a $0 option.

To get the free Speed Limit Info (8TH) and Lane Departure Warning (combined, make up the $700 Driver Assistance Plus package), you must spec Navigation (or Tech), plus the standard Driver Assistance package.

Options

That is confirmed, I did not order drivers assistance or tech package on mine and it did not get the lane departure or the speed limit info. It did, however get the heated steering wheel, which so far in our moderate California weather makes up for the lack of heated seats I am used to.

I have had the AH3 for almost a month now and have been very impressed. Although I did not get nav the interface and display is a big upgrade from the 328i loaner I drove for 2 days, which made me really appreciate the AH3. It feels so much more solid and powerful, a completely different car.

Just following up on this, as the USAA discount has been extended through at least Jan 31, 2013.

I paid for my car last week, and my dealer absolutely did the $1K USAA discount for me. This was in combination with the $3500 Eco-credit, $1000 Holiday Cash, as well as $750 Loyalty.

My paperwork is done done done. If they change their minds on the $1K, my dealer will have to eat it, I suppose.

The TEAM USA Olympic cash was expired for all models in 10/31/2012... it was however extended for 3series sedan WITH X DRIVE due to late availability until 1/3/13 (i believe the 3 hybrid was part of the late availability but BMW doesnt seem to want to extend incentive to hybrids)

However, dealer made the mistake and should definitely eat it

$3500 Eco-credit for AH3 extended through Jan 31, 2013. $750 Loyalty also available, but of course $1K Holiday cash is now gone.

Wow they DID apply the incentives? Its still in the process with bmwna in my case but the dealer will not honor the incentive for sure.

And about the "pie" menu you mentioned before. It is only available in interactive map mode, i think; honestly dont even understand what we do with that mode but yes looks kinda cool.

I did 35+ mpg on long range highway with 100% comfort mode.

Better news, too.
Bmwna will install m doorsills, m footrest (which it doesn't come with beige interior) and m aluminum pedals for FREE.

Well, that's very cool of them.

Not sure I understand why the Beige interior has the aluminum pedal deleted.

M Aluminum Pedals are an accessory. Or so I thought!

Yep, no problem on the $1K USAA. My financing is completely done, and absolutely included the $1K.

Very nice! I'm driving mine from PCD back to Dallas TX, which is all highway of course. I hope to achieve similar results.

Excellent. Exactly how did you confirm this? I'd like the M aluminum pedals, what should I tell my dealer?

Nothing much. i asked for a little gift then they said they will throw one in. You should ask one, too.

Did everyone notice all zero dollar options are gone now except speed limit info?
