Changes in oil interval service
Hi friends,
I´m from Brazil and I´m needing some help with my BMW F30 320 2015. I did the third service out of dealer because my warranty has finished. The first and the second services were done in the dealer and they had reseted my oil interval service for 12.000 km or 1 year. The third service reseted my oil interval service to 7.000 km or 6 months. They did the reset with scanner, not by the dashboard button. The question is: is there a way to change it back to 12.000 km? Thanks in advance. |

Maybe, maybe not. Some service settings can't be reset until the mileage/time interval is close enough that the car says that the service is due. You don't have to actually do the service when that time comes, at that point you can do a reset using the dashboard button, then do the oil change at the usual 1 year or 12,000 km interval from the last oil change. Keep receipts when you do any service work, either from the place that did it or sales receipts for the fluids/parts that you do yourself as proof when you're ready to sell the car.
