I bought a 2014 435i as a replacement for my 2011 135i. I'm loving the car so far, and thought it was about time I start a build thread. Here is Roxanne:
Current Mod list: Performance -JB4 -VRSF catless Downpipe -VRSF chargepipe -Remus Quad exhaust -CTS Intake Exterior -Tint -Carbon fiber diffuser -wrapped v brace -cf front lip -M style mirror caps Interior - Suspension St-X Coilovers Wheel/Tire specs -VMR V801 in Anthracite Metallic 19x8.5 ET35 (10mm spacer=effective ET25) 19x9.5 ET45 (10mm spacer=effective ET35) Michelin Pilot Sport 4s 235/35/19 265/30/19 Here she is as she sits today Here she was the day I bought her: My favorite and first mod always is a good wash and detail I clayed and polished for 8+ hours trying to get most of the swirl marks out. I typically you Menzerna but had to resort to some Meguiars 105 and a wool pad for my first round to cut through these swirls. Not the greatest example, but below you can see the swirls on the left panel, and the difference after I'd polished the panel on the right. I sealed the paint with some wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. Next up was tint, I know its not for everyone, but I like the smooth look. I loved the look of the VMR V801s and ordered a set in Anthracite Metallic. They look amazing in person, love the color! Also, over the setup that came on the car, I was able to shed a fair amount of weight. 8.6lb on each front wheel/tire and 8.8lb for each rear wheel/tiresetup. I love shedding unsprung weight on the car as I can usually feel a dramatic difference. ST Coil-overs were up next. I was skeptical since these were about half the cost of the KWs I purchased for my 135i, but I love them! The car is planted, corners on rails, and it's definitely riding so much better! It's not too harsh on the bumps, and no new sounds to report. I was dying to close that wheel gap as well. I liked the way she sat but as you can see below the wheels were tucked a bit more than I liked, so I have 2 sets of 10mm spacers. I've put the rears on, Once the fronts are done I will load pics. Here she is with the 10mm spacers front and rear: I had a Remus Quad exhaust on my 1er, and loved the sound, so I went that route again. It isn't too loud through the neighborhood but really comes to life when I put my foot down. Love the look of the quad tips, but another mod that isn't for everyone. Pics of the exhaust and diffuser: Here is a rev clip: Here is a driving clip: I did a CTS intake, and absolutely love the build quality and sound! That is typically all I expect in an intake, something cool when you pop the hood and in increase in sound. This brought my engine bay to life, the turbo sounds amazing. Here is the intake: Historically, I purchased kind my cf through the more well known websites but with a lip I figured I'd probably ruin the first one getting used to having it on, so I bought a CF lip off ebay, and was actually really happy with the quality and fitment. Here are a few shots of it. I plan to write up my install guide in the next couple weeks and I will link it here I decided, again not for everyone, to go with alpine white M style mirror caps. After reading alot of reviews I picked them up off ebay, fit and quality were decent, and I love the subtle difference to the look. I wanted another subtle accent so I decided to wrap the V brace in Vinyl: Not sure what's next, open to suggestions! Thanks! Funny you mention the decals, I was washing yesterday and thinking how tired I am of all the grit catching on them and was about to pull them. Hadn't really given them much thought before that. You may have just pushed me over the edge.

Looks good OP, question: what made you go 235/35 and 265/30. Your speedometer is definitely reading high because the over all radius difference is significant. 2/3 inch front and almost 3/4 inch smaller than OEM in back

That's a great question, in my interactions purchasing the wheels/tires the manufacturer told me "We recommend 235/35-19 and 265/30-19 on that car. " and I blindly followed

Thanks! Ended up buying one from RW Carbon that was decent. Install/fit wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but can't complain for the price vs the 3d designs one I initially bought.
