My biggest gripe with this car is the Alcantara/Cloth interior, other than that its an exceptional motor mate.

Haha, thanks, I've never been a fan of leather so will always pick cloth and alcantara over it

Does look very nice and the cloth/alcantera is a nice change. Never seen that before.

Once again, it's had its yearly check-up at KDS, the results after just a valet are stunning (again!).

It's now two years old, done 32K miles and I'm not in the slightest bit bored of it. Second shot is a photo of the passenger rear door. No polishing to get it looking this good (the white is a reflection).

Great looking 340i. SMB would also be my color choice if I'd ever order a new F31. Mid blue tones like San Marino, Le Mans or the new Marina Bay have something special. I saw many times the Estoril Blue 340i Tourings which were nice but lacked something IMO, the same with Imperial or Midinight blue. I find San Marino much more interesting, the same as I found Le Mans Blue when I bought my E91.

Was is difficult to order San Marino F31 in your dealership? Did you have to wait for the approval? I asked a few days ago in one dealership, just from curiosity, about the Individual paintworks and they told me that I could only order 4 colors from the catalog (Azurite, Moonstone, Smoke Topaz, etc.) The guys did seem to know much about Individual program...

Thank you and I completely agree.

It wasn't difficult to order, I did have to wait for approval as it had to go to Germany etc. Beyond that, not really an issue. It should be more easy than it was as I believe mine was one of, if not the first, to be made in San Marino. I know there's been several San Marino 3 and 4 series since mine was built.

It was an agonising wait, getting approval for the colour and waiting for various stages to be rubber stamped at BMW but was definitely worth it.

It has the full M Performance body kit and will soon have the LSD too, as soon as it's available. Possibly further mods too, ideally I'd have an M3 touring but instead I'll have to make do with this

Updated with a couple more pics of the rear from before the shipping blocks were removed, one underneath shot and some interior shots.

Updated 28th Nov 2015 with photos post detail and wet sand.

Thank-you.
