I think you can do better. They're marking up $200 lease acquisition fee and $599 doc fee is pure profit. What's $299 for BMW Advantage? Since you're in Atlanta, I'd get a quote from Adrian Avila at BMW South Atlanta. Tell him you want Bimmerfest invoice + pricing. http://garage.bimmerfest.com/siteSpo...nsor&SpCId=106

I'd tell them I am not paying more than $75 for the doc fee to file for a lousy title and registration.

To give you an idea..

335xi (same residual and MF) 59k negotiated to 51k Payment about $610 a month only paying 1st month and security fee upfront. Tax is rolled into payment...

... I did your calculation and with NY tax (not sure what your local tax is) you should be paying $624 a month paying 1st payment and fees upfront but tax is rolled into payment (no down payment). With tax paid upfront (plus fees) your payment would be $566 a month. So his calculations dont make sense to me. He is not being honest in the money factor OR he is adding the fees into the monthly lease OR you have negative equity somewhere..... Its a bad deal...

You should pay out of pocket:
Doc fee should be $75
Bank Fee is $725 (that is the dealer cost but they always try to mark up to 925 or 950 --- dont accept this)
1st Month Payment
Registration Fees
Tax

PS - If you have an iPhone get the Leasematic app.. its worth the 1.99. That plus getting the MSRP and invoice from Edmunds you can on the fly calculate the lease right then and there -- even store profiles of cars... Its great for negotiating.

Thanks everyone for their input. In Atlanta we need to pay 6.75% TAVT(TITLE AD VALOREM TAX). My dealer told me that TAVT needs to be paid for the entire MSRP of the car and not the prorated lease price and $299 BMW Advantage it is a protection package that is added to all new cars that will protect the interior, exterior, headlamps, side mirrors and wheels. I don't need that package but as per my dealer it comes in all new cars now. I will ask him to take it off. I contacted one more dealer here and they have the same $599 dealer fee and not ready to come down on that. I will contact Adrian Avila at BMW South Atlanta and see what he can offer.

If that's the case buy the car in another state. No need to pay useless taxes.

Politicians are crooks... Another state to cross of my list...

You can't buy it out of state unless you plan to register it out of state...

Is tax rolled into the payment?

Yes, buying out of state will not help because as I need to register it in GA I will be required to pay the Tavat tax. Only good thing is you don't pay yearly birthday tax or any extra sales tax. And yes taxes are rolled into your monthly payment
