Happy with that news, i rang my stealer to add the 403's back on... only to find the build was finished.

I guess you could always change later or use the 18s as winter rims. Mine's a lease anyhow so a) it's only for 2 years and b) I'd have had to fork out the full cost of the 19s anyway over 2 years which is a little distasteful.

Another thought was ride comfort - it's our first 'M Sport', so didn't want to go too crazy on low profile tyres...

so if you see you can get a set of 19" for £916 the 18" are spookily exactly the same at £916!!

I am well chuffed with the way it looks. The 19's are tricky to clean properly.I have resorted to using AG resin polish and a microfibre cloth. It is a tight squeeze through the spokes to clean the inner part of the wheels though

Not too mad with the options although in hindsight I wish I had also gone for the panoramic sunroof.

I moved from an F11 520d M Sport Touring and the 320D feels much quicker. I looked on the BMW website and a base 520D weighs 1790kgs and a base 320D 1575kgs so it has over 200kgs less to haul around. No wonder it feels quicker. Only done 300 miles so far so I am still taking it easy.
