I'm currently driving a 2017 330e loaner equipped with the HK sound while my 2014 435i with HK sound is getting new leather at the dealer. The HK in the 330e sounds absolutely nothing like the HK system in my 435i. Went to factory settings and reset to make sure.The system in the 330e is muuuuch more bassy. This is my first 3 series loaner with the HK (all others had hifi) so not sure if this is a 3er vs 4er thing or there have been some major updates to the system. Thanks for any info!
