435xi - Estoril on black, CW, PP, Auto Lights - in NY-anyone want my deal?
I decided to give up my 435 and pick up an in stock 428. I had the 435 for $1000 over invoice if anyone wants to take my deal. Dealer was doing MF of .00135 (adding about $1.50/mo above the .00125)
This is in NY so if anyone is interested please send me a PM and I'll get you the details. Thanks Last edited by NY435; 11-19-2013 at 07:50 PM.. |

Few reasons...
First I really wanted the RWD 435 but there were no allocations, so I decided to go to the AWD, adding on a few $k and having to ditch an option or two. With the 428 I was able to get a few more options that my wife and I will enjoy...only by sacrificing the 6 cyl. It just wasnt worth it in the long run for me personally. Tough call but in the end I think it was the right decision for us. |

I will, I still want to find a new home for the baby I raised. I doubt they will have a hard time selling it if no one takes it being that it's damn hard to find one not claimed already (or under 60k!) |

im surprised you guys had to wait this long for the RWD allocations. I placed my order on 10/8, and my car went into production 10/10 for a RWD... I guess, just lucky?

yah basically my dealer, and others I spoke with, had no idea when they would receive the RWD allocation...and the only other models I located had tons of options I didnt need.
I really hate the let the 435 go for a 28, but it is what it is. Theres always another car down the road. |

I traded in my F30 335 for my 435 that I'm picking up tomorrow.
The dealer gave me a loaner 328i for the last 2 days (as they are switching out the MPE from the 335 to the 435) ....and i'll tell you this much....that 328 can move!! i am SHOCKED as to how much power this thing has...seriously its got some big jump! very impressive. |

so the 428 they located for me actually had a buyer but the system was not updated.. boohoo! So at this point Im looking for another 428, possibly gonna say F it and just get a loaded 435, or keep the car I originally ordered.
I did visit the dealer today and they had an Alpine White on Coral Red, fully loaded. This is the first time seeing the Coral Red in person and I must say the car was a stunning combo. I tried to make an offer then and there on the spot, but it is "Sold". I quote the sold because the buyer placed a deposit in early October but has yet to take delivery, with the car having been at the dealer for well over a week (i think close to two), and sitting in the showroom with people hopping in and out (not exactly what I would want being done with a 65k car I had a deposit on). I insisted that the CA check with the other sales man as to why the car hasnt been delivered and if it was a sure thing, otherwise I will take it. So another day of waiting, and the Aida is another day closer with my ordered 435... |

not really in any major rush other than I have to rent cars, but I would like something by the end of the year, otherwise I will have been car-less for over 3 months. I'm pretty sure I am going to find something this week...but will it be a locate, the AW/CR one, or just the car I ordered. Its a tough call all around.
And checking the VIN on the "sold" car they had at the dealer, it was released from port on 10/15. So either this guy who bought it really doesnt care and its just another toy (who would wait so long to pick up their car??!!?), the salesman that sold it just hasn't released it back into inventory, or somthign else...but I really fell for the car. It had the optional 19's and the CF mirror covers as well. |
