What is the deal with all the camo...it's literally just an F30 with two less doors. Disappointed...I would definitely get a 2 door over the 4 if presented the option but for god's sake with the name change and all the secrecy I thought they would do something a little bit different. The little boomerang is just hideous and that's the biggest change!!! Ughhh

You cant expect a 4er to have an m6 wheel or the 7 inst. cluster. The m3/4 will probably get the m6 style wheel.

Thats really disappointing about the headlights, as that was the coolest thing about the concept car.

bmw cars come in pairs. meaning the e9x and f3x are siblings, just like the e36 and e46. They are going to use a lot of styling cues from the e90 and the f30. Calling it the 4er sets them up for the next generation where it can differentiate more from the 3er.

And that's why it's SOOOO dumb that it's named a "4 series". They tried giving us the explanation of the nomenclature when looking at the 5 and 6 series. But the difference is, there is so much distinction between the 5 and 6 series, that the name change is warranted. Not in this case. Just annoying, and underwhelming that they dulled the concept down so much.

im really not one to say something like this, but man do I agree. I was really hoping that it would look like the concept which looked like the f30, but was still distinct. this is what mercedes did with their c class coupe. its a c sedan with two doors taken off. youre paying more with the same product with two less doors. theres no extra flair or style with the coupe. I think the c coupe is stupid and if this goes in the same direction, IMO this will be too.

Poor decision not to offer those and the lower leds as they really differentiated it from the F30.

Oh well at least I will feel less jealous/left out when practicality means I have to choose an F31 next time.

It's just a name game...Audi gets to command more money with the A4/A5, BMW is doing the same thing. If BMW really went at it and created something very different with lots of tooling changes the price would piss people off big time.

So if you just call this in your head, the new F32 328/335ci and not some new model, the 4 series, I think you won't be so miffed.

I thought that of all the details from the concept, the headlights were the most likely to make it to production. It's really a shame to see that they won't make the cut.

Changing the name is ok as long as the percent increase in price from 3 series to 4 series is the same as the percent increase in price from e90 to e92. Most 2 door versions of 4 door cars cost more. This is nothing new.

well i guess things may change when it comes to the 4 Gran Coupe?

they can't seriously make another car that looks exactly like the F30 and call it the 4 Gran Coupe

I think they might bring the hexagonal LEDs from the concept on the LCI model, after all they know everyone liked it so it could be a great way to bring more clients to the LCI aswell.

As for the car itself..i think it will look good, but will reserve judgement for when i see the final product..cant tell how people seems to already know how it will look with this camo still on.

Wow! Looks to be just like the interior of the F30! Amazing... Zzz... I don't know why they bothered covering it up.

I will say though, that the ugly as Hell plastic or black painted aluminum accent will help increase the value of my e92 if I should ever want to sell her.

The more camo comes off, the more I want them to put it back on. This car doesn't do anything for me.

For the first time ever I would use the word "bland" to describe a 3 series coupe. 4 series, whatever...
