Wanting a 330d m performance options

Hi all. New to this forum

Currently have an f10 525d which is well spec'ed. looking to sell this and buy a 330d with the m performance kit

Wanted some advice really, what to look out for and what the difference is between the 2013 models and the 2015 models (LCI/PRE)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've had a 14plate and a 64plate 330d msport prior to my current 15plate 330d msport, the only differences I have on my 15plate are the 5 struts front suspension mounts and it's Euro 6(previous two were 3struts and Euro 5).
Mine is up for sale due to my m140i order.😎

I would look at all m-sport ones and then fit the m-performance bits yourself. People seem to charge a massive premium on cars with them fitted plus it really limits your choices down.

Sounds good could be a project.

Question on suspension, when fitted with the 20" wheels, would i have to do anything with the suspension?

I thought there was a later face lift version?

Lci f30 arrived in atummn 2015. It has different lights and front drinks holders. As Sabo has said there were also changes to suspension mounting points and engines became Euro 6 in 2015, however these changes can be found on some late pre LCI cars. It's worth trying to get a car that has theses mechanical changes to benefit fro improved handling and it's likely that anything pre euro 6 will be hit hardest in the potential air quality legislation that may be on the horizon.

No - I've got the OEM 20" 405M's as have others and the suspension is fine.

Good luck!

Agree with that.. but if you buy an older pre-LCI car 2012/13/14 etc look for one with blue performance as an optional extra .. that means it's Euro 6!

Great advice.

Indeed yes, forgot that it was optional prior to the 2015 phased in changes. Wonder how many did select that as an option!?

Whichever; great choice of car OP!

A quick google image search will show front light differences. What ever you go avoid the standard halogen lights, not much better than a candle in the wind imo
