Exactly 27 days from the time the BMWNA tracking website said my car was "en route" to the day I picked it up at my dealership in SoCal.
Patience my friend…. Last edited by nfwb11; 01-30-2014 at 05:27 PM.. |

Call BMW NA (1-800-831-1117) and give them you production number. They should be able to give you the name of the ship it's on and a more detailed status update than the website provides (don't bother with the automated service, talk to a live person).
Once you have the name of the ship (if it's not already in a VPC), you can track it on marinetraffic.com |

Your car was probably on the WW Tosca, the same ship as mine. It left Bremerhaven on 1/14 and arrived at the port of NJ yesterday. If all goes well, I'm hoping to take delivery next Friday.
EDIT: Meant to add that the website still shows my car as "En Route" even though it arrived yesterday. The site is definitely a day or two behind. Last edited by Reposado; 01-31-2014 at 10:08 AM.. |
