not on the 3, I dont believe.


My wifes X3 had one, which came after car was delivered--I dont think any other models have this?..

• Placed order - August 16 (originally promised delivery by October 31 - then told it wouldn't go into production until week 45 - raised a bit of a fuss with the dealership and they were able to expedite)
• Went into production - September 30
• Left factory - October 6
• Left Bremerhaven via Morning Concert - October 11
• Arrived in Halifax - October 21
• Boarded CNR to Vancouver - October 24
• Enroute via CN Rail near Saskatoon - October 31
• ETA Vancouver - November 6 (may be earlier given progress so far)
• Pick up from dealership - November ???

10/31 - Production Completed

Hopes it arrives in SF by Dec first week...

The dealer has 3 ready, a Metallic Gray (best color in my opinion), a White and a Black. By the moment I decide, I have it in 5 days. I am really puzzled about the color and options.

Update! They moved up my completion date to Saturday and the 1-800 service says my car is in the body shop. Woot!

Timeline for my 2014 335i xDrive:

10/15 - Order Placed
10/31 - Production Started
11/07 - In Body Shop
11/09 - Estimated Completion Date

Yeah, its still "awaiting transportation to port of exit". Any info or link to info about next vessel leaving for West Coast?

awesome! looks like you're just going to miss today's ship--- my guess is you reach port by today (probably already there) or tomorrow.

Your ships are going to be the Topeka(13th), Honor (15th), or Michigan Highway (15th)--my bet is you get the MH. We shall see!

Thanks for sharing website. It gives "Session time out error". Browsed the parent website to find following tracking link. I surmise Cargo ID is VIN (if its shipped on WW i.e.)?

I didn't get Michigan Highway when I searched for ships to Brunswick, GA. My bet is on Honor!

Michigan highway is a Kline ship (better for us GA guys IMO) as it's a "shuttle service" that's about 5 days faster.

I still say the MH for you!

My car is about to leave Baltimore.. Should be in Ga on Monday -- hoping to pick up next weekend

Hey Sp82 - the status of my car when I call the 800 number still says "being transported to the port of exit"... it's been like that since 11/7. I know the updates are 24-48 hours behind but it's been a few days already!

I want to make sure it gets on one of this week's 3 boats!

Can anyone help me easily where to track it from here?
I've been reading over the tracking thread but its gets a bit confusing

nothing you can do to track it from factory to port. Once it gets to port, it will be assigned to a ship--once you have this vessel name, you can track it on its voyage over (except for when its out in the middle of the ocean) BMW NA, and your CA will have this vessel name once it gets loaded/assigned/departs Germany.

Hey M-Sport. I've got a 435i with same dates as yours! Finished production 11/06 and was en route to port of exit for all of last week. I spoke with an actual rep yesterday afternoon and she told me my car had arrived at Bremerhaven on Saturday (even though the automated recording still stated as "in transit to port of exit").

Nonetheless, today the automated recording now says it's at the port of exit awaiting a vessel. Hopefully I make the Topeka which sails tomorrow!
