F80 style rear bumper on F31?

Hey guys, need a little assistance sourcing a F80 M3 style rear bumper to fit a F31.

Been around BMWs for years and looking to order a 2018 330i wagon in the next few months. Came across a brand new 0 mile F80 M3 exhaust that is cut just before the secondary cats. Still have yet to physically test fit, however the only noticeable modification will be the Y-pipe to the existing single exhaust on the wagon.

I discovered the F80 exhaust tips sit much closer together than a quad exhaust equipped F30/F31. Below are a couple pictures showing the center line on the inner most tip on the F31 and the outer most tip on the F80.

Also found out that the F30 and F31 share different part numbers for the rear bumper cover and mounts. Can anyone confirm the rear bumper is interchangeable across the sedan and wagon?

Ultimately, I would like to swap the rear bumper to a F80 M3 style to accommodate the M3 exhaust without using a factory M3 rear bumper and grafting the rear quarters in.

Thank you in advance!

Not sure if this feedback helps it's just off the top of my head:

You won't necessarily need to switch to an m3 bumper, the key part that needs to be updated to work is the "correct" diffuser with compatible outlet cutouts. I wonder if there is a diffuser that exists for the M sport bumper that you could use.

Also,

An f80 m3 bumper won't fit an F31, you'll need to use a rep m3 style bumper designed for the F31 unless the F30 rep fits?

The next challenge you'll have is customizing the piping to line up with your existing exhaust line. I'm not sure if the exhaust will even fit.

Why in the hell do people think they can swap parts around to different models at will.

The F31 Bumper is unique and nothing is compatible with it.

Only a bumper made for a F31 is going to work without massive amounts of other work.

Re. body parts unique to F31, that's what I though as well.

My bad, meant to say im looking for a 'replica' m3 style rear bumper that does not require M3 rear quarter panels.

That was my next task, finding a rear diffuser that is aimed towards having quad tips sit closer together. Possibly even go through the process of modifying an existing diffuser.

My only answer to that is the exhaust was $free.99

Did some measuring with a M Performance 335i/340i diffuser in person and it looks like it will leave two inches on each side of the M3 exhaust tips to the existing cutouts. This will need to be trimmed inward as suspected but can be painted after smoothing the plastic diffuser out.

Just use a quad style diffuser and get any muffler for a 335I and just change the end piping. Most exhaust shops will make you a new 90 degree bend pipe coming from the muffler and mount new tips for around $80 to $100 or less.
