What is wrong with M sport? Should all BMW enthusiasts have M sport?

Toyota lease has been known to have no GAP, they still seem to be that way given GAP is listed as a product for both finance and lease.

Does VW fine print say GAP is included in VW lease?

In leasing a car, it is better to be informed first n all the responsibilities and obligations so that in the end you will not regret your decision. Mostly, it is a great help to find for a better auto dealers and brokers in order to get better deals. Everyone have different situations and needs, and in my case, I will choose leasing than buying a car.

Sure? My 9y.o. Jetta with 90K+ miles was purchased at $13,000. I have sales papers. You wanna bet?

Changed 2 sensors, myself. Total cost ~$130. Had fun.

Now I better understand where all that "buy vs lease" "solid math" comes from. Sir, you are free to believe to any religion, even the one like above. Free country. No point to continue any further.
I'd like see those papers!

As an owner if 3 VAG cars in past, all making it past 120k miles each, I know at 90k miles that Jetta is about due for some significant service. In 9 years only having that little amount of maintenance is the exception rather than the rule. That's some magic Jetta.

My interpretation of that post is that the 9-year old Jetta had major services done leading up to the sale, hence the $13k price paid by that poster for the car(the seller asked the buyer to chip in on those repairs/services). And after purchase the additional cost was $130 so far.

If I did it over again, I’d pass on M Sport too. On our sh*tty California roads, it gets uncomfortable day to day. I had a base car as a loaner and was surprised that it wasn’t that different as far as handling during daily driving. For performances driving I’m sure it makes a difference.

They made some improvements to the stock suspension on the F30 and its not as floaty or mushy as the pre-LCI F30s. A stock F30 on 18"s is just fine for day to day and thats likely what I will get with the next car. This will make it easy inventory-wise since it was a lot harder for me to source an M sport optioned the way I wanted during the last search. Million 3 series floating around nicely optioned with stock suspension and 18's. The 17's just look like shit, mainly cuz of those god awful wheels. Maybe the G20 will have better base wheels at which point id even consider 17's for a cushier ride. THe previous gen 17" standard wheels were alot nicer than whats on there now

My no-line base suspension has performed well enough DD on freeways and hilly twisties along my usual routes. The M sport provides wider margin than base, but base is still not shabby given the comfort level.

Doesn't the Adaptive M Sport Suspension solve the harshness problem? It's available as an option with the M Sport Package.

I’m in the minority, but the adaptive didn’t really do it for me because in sport, you still feel everything, and in comfort, it felt even softer than the base. This is with RWD.

That is my issue with adaptive too, esp. soft is softer than base. There really should be a dial that can select any setting between the two extremes.

not to mention that adaptive is almost unheard of on dealer stock cars except for a few so its a special order

I had the same impression when test driving msport and base and chose base for similar reasons. Also found msport to be quite nervous/busy over less-than-perfect roads.

Base as in LCI, or pre-LCI base is good enough too?

LCI and beyond. The base pre LCI suspension was too soft for my blood. The base LCI and post LCI suspension (Ive driven 3 2017 328i and 1 base 340i with post LCI suspension and it feels just right for daily driving.
