Really? You would choose a 4-Series GC over an M3 sedan? Why?

Maybe I should've been clear. Anything that isn't a M car...

You will be waiting forever then because there is no m4 GC going to be produced. Only M3 and M4 coupe and conv. No other variations. Sorry.

The problem for BMW and the F30 is that Mercedes Benz just put their "old pig" C-Class to sleep and the new one is just as nice as an E- and S-Class inside.

My local dealer has plenty of F30 335i priced within a few bucks of M3 and M4 base prices. It has (2) 335i and (3) 435i with MSRP several thounsands over an M3/M4 base MSRP. Nothing in their interiors look better than a 320i's of $32,000, or 50% the price of the M4. This is really getting to the point of being beyond absurd. The F30 interior is just not proper for anything priced over $40,000. Anything, regardless of luxury, sports or whatever.

At least the E9x interior mimicked a 7-Series layout, so it masked its cheapness with style. What we have now is an upscaled 1-Series interior at M4 prices and beyond.

That is really BMW's bad move with the F30 interior, no matter how much leather (lipstick) you put on this pig.

BMW officials have been quoted saying they will not make an M4GC due to excessive body flex with that chassis. There has not been any confirmed evidence to the contrary other than a poorly quoted/translated statement that showed up here a few days ago.

It's just as well we all have our opinions.

I can't stand the look of the E9X interior, and it's the main reason I waited until the F3X to come along before buying my first BMW. The E46 was probably the nicest but they are somewhat long in the tooth now.

Of course it looks beautiful, but a car like the one in the photos is easilly as expensive as an M3 or more

just look at the cheap plastic they used for the rear seats vents!! the mercs look like they came from a Rolls and these look like they came from a Kea.
If only it drove like past bmws but not even that we can look forward too.

My only hope is that Alpina can make something out of this
This post seems so trivial! You have no idea how "cheap" the plastic on the rear vents are, they just seem cheap to you in these pictures. Also, why would that sway your opinion on a car as a whole, do you plan on sitting back there and touching it?
They are cheap.

Mate I dont need to touch Pam Anderson´s tits to know they are fake and cheap. Just need to look at the pics. and trust me beeing and owner of an F25 X3, I know cheap when i see it. the only reason I bought the car was because I owned the previous gen and thought it would be as good to drive as the 1st gen. I now have on order a Macan S (14months wait!! to be confirmed)

And if I am paying that much for a car I hope they put some effort into it. I said it before: I wouldnt mind that much the poor interiors, huge panel gaps, questionable design (1 ser) the 90´s bulb turn signal and overpriced msport packages if these car drove aswell as they used to. (remember the times when a E39 5ser was considered by many to "best the car in the real world)? This car is as big and as expensive as one today - we all now the 3 is old 5 - but one could not point ANYTHING at that car. good old days. Its true all good things must come to an end.

I love the various textures in the leather, but HATE that steering wheel! The only difference between that and the base is the word "Individual" on it.

It does look like it has the soft plush leather from the M sport wheel though... the non M sport wheel has quite a rough plasticky texture

Unfortunately none of these Individual options seem to be available in the US for the 4 series. I haven't seen any pricing info for other markets.
