Thanks. I tried searching and couldn't really find any others with this.

Can the trans behavior be modified within BM3 (beyond the OTS flash)?

Ive had this happen several times. I think its because the trans is staying in a high gear and not downshifting enough gears/quick enough.

I ran an aggressive burble map for a couple months. Burble completely off in comfort and really not all that aggressive for sport. Still was an AGG map though.

Comfort
Duration:0
Aggression: 0

Sport/+
Duration: 0.6 <-0.9
Aggression: 0.3 <-3.3
(Changed the burble settings from the highest values to the lowest sometime over the course of those couple months)

This is how it looks now lol

How did those settings compare to OEM burbles? I have never changed my burble settings and left them on OEM. Generally very mild, but as expected when the car/cat get really hot there can be some pretty loud pops. So i am curious how aggressive the settings are that caused that damage compared to OEM.

Depending on which exhaust system you have the OEM burbles will probably be slightly different. So for me, with an awe full exhaust (w/ mid pipe), OEM burbles without ever touching settings in Bootmod3 were very muffled. OEM settings really are the definition of burble. Almost like the exhaust is gargling. No real popcorn.
With the Aggressive Bootmod3 maps the pops are just that. Pops and gunshots. The higher your duration and aggression, the more gunshot like it'll sound. The lower your duration and aggression, the more crackle and pop you get while also giving loud pops on upshifts under certain conditions.

Edit: Those pretty loud pops you get once the cats are warm happen pretty much all the time running AGG maps.

I know. I wasn't asking about sound persay, just curious how aggressive they were to damage the cat. I am hoping that keeping OEM settings wont be enough to damage the fabspeed since it was supposed to be fine for OEM cat afterall.

Right. With more sounds comes more intense detonation. Figured that would be self explanatory. When your cat gets warm those pops destroy it. The muffled OEM burble I'm sure has no effect.

I noted how aggressive they were when i listed my settings. And explained the sound intensity in the post that followed. Lol.

Yeah i know. For some reason i was thinking i would be able to compare directly to yours. I'm not worried about mine on OEM.

Can someone check out my logs?
At first glance everything looks good besides STFT...
Car is 2014 335xi VRSF FBO, Dinan CAI, BM3 Stage 2 93 oct. NGK gapped to .022
32k miles
PTF reccomended e85 to clean up timing so I am running 1.5 gallons and the rest 93 oct.

Just want to make sure I understand what you're sharing....

In Sport/+ you went from 0.9 to 0.6?
Same applies for aggression? You went from 3.3 to 0.3?

Right now I'm on BM3 burble settings (non AGG) but seeing your pictures is making me reconsider keeping OEM burbles.

Thanks

It is a little odd that your STFTs are so negative when you are running E85 on a pump gas map, but its probably just the intake. HPFP pressure is also a little weird up top but only a little. Otherwise i don't see anything wrong with the logs.
