Which car to get next?

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm trying to decide which car I'm going to get next and I've narrowed it down to 3:
  • M2
  • 340i
  • 328d

I currently drive a 2011 335d with about 62k miles and I like the combination of power, drive, and efficiency that it has; I like the fact that I can go a little over one week before refueling as I drive about 60-70 miles a day to work (80-90% of which is highway).

And that it manages to put a smile on my face every time I drive it is a plus.

I'm sure that the M2 and 340i will drive great and put a smile on my face but will be stretching the tank (with the M2 I may have to stop halfway thru the week with the small tank that it has).

Which car from the list will you choose and why? Am I missing something that I should be considering in my choices?

Thank you!

I'd would go for M2. I went with 340i since i needed x-drive, and couldn't wait for M2

So long commute, but do you need back seat ingress / egress? Is the act of filling up more of a problem than trying to pinch at the pump?

340i is a fantastic sport sedan. The M2 will be fantastic so it's really dependent on if you need more or less practicality. 328d does not provide the price/performance that I would desire especially with high diesel prices in US

Back seats are rarely used (except for work-related stuff) and the act of only filling up once a week is more of a convenience than a problem (I can stop and fill-up when needed).

Also, its no big deal if I end up spending more on gas.

Go with a 340i. Given its supposed to be a more efficient motor, you should get better milage than your current 335i. It's also a lot more roomier than a 2 series. I don't even think it's that much lighter than a 3 series. Overall, I think you'll get better bang for your buck
