New 2016 340i driver, trying to get some music to work!!

My iPhone 6+ on OS 8.1 connects fine, but the blutooth playback has a 20 second or so delay. I can see artwork and playlists, track names etc. When I select a song, the track looks like it's playing on the iDrive screen, the track time counts up etc. However the song audio won't start playing until 20 seconds in. Skipping tracks or playing a new track has the same effect. It will show that a new track is playing but showing the new artwork and track name and the track time will start, but the previous track audio is still playing. After about 20 seconds the new track audio will play. 20 second delay. Same goes for when I am typing. The sound for the keypress is 20 seconds late. Any solutions?

Also, I have a USB thumb drive formatted to Mac OS Extended that worked fine in my 2013 328i, but is "not recognized" by 340i. Do I need to reformat to FAT32?

Better to upgrade to iOS 9.2.1 first before anything else. Very hard to diagnose issues when you aren't on the latest release of any software.

Yeah, my iPhone 6 works like a dream. And it worked fine on IOS 9.2 already (I got my 318d on the 8th of January).

I really don't like updating when my phone runs perfectly but I guess this qualifies as not working perfectly anymore.
