Cool Next Gen 2012 F30 335i Spied In Testing

Reported on BIMMERPOST HOMEPAGE.

This isn't the first time we've spotted an F30 335i in testing, but it's been quite a while. This next generation test prototype was recently spotted testing in public in Germany. We believe the interior remains a dummy interior (from the 1-series) fitted for testing purposes only. We've yet to spot the production F30 interior.

Compared to the E90 3-series, the F30 will feature a longer wheelbase, but shorter shorter overhangs, for a sporty squat look. It will also have wider and lower kidney grilles. Engine options will include a full range of turbo and naturally aspirated 6-cylinder motors, 4-cylinder motors, and possibly even a new 3-cylinder motor. The F30 335i will again be powered by a turbo 6 cylinder motor.

The F30 3-series sedan will make its world public debut at the 2012 Geneva Autoshow in March of 2012. The F32 coupe will be unveiled a year later in 2013.

I'm not crazy about the color LOL. Really, I can never tell much about how the final product will look based off of these camouflaged testers. Unfortunately, they do a good job with it. Thanks for the post though.

haha good one

Looks like the F30 will get the dynamic drive features from the F10...the controls above the shifter look the same as the ones on the F10 for the dynamic drive.

Hopefully that is not the final interior as it looks very similar to the current E90.

Be nice if you can see the radio with polarized glasses on. It will only take how many years to fix this one. How about a tool kit with all the tools. Oh! you only need the tow hook and a Philips screwdriver the other slots are for show only and to drive you mad to figure what goes in them.

looks like in the interior shot the middle vents and dash are going back to a more arch shaped, almost like the e46 use to have. interesting. i like it.

If you want to know what the interior will look like, just look at the new X3.

With minor tweaks (i.e. more angled towards driver), I bet this will be the interior of the F30.
