ActiveHybrid 3

Buggering damn and blast!!! I COULD'VE HAD AN ACTIVEHYBRID 3!!

Let's compare this to a 328i firstly;
328i - 245ps 350NM, 41MPG 147g/km CO2 = 19% BIK (8spd auto optional).

ActiveHybrid 3 - 306ps + 30-40hp electric boost 400NM, 47.9MPG 139g/km CO2 = 18% BIK (8spd standard).

Okay, so the bit that pisses me off having ordered a 328i is the leasing costs... The ActiveHyrbid 3 is about the bloody same as the 328i and you get a whole lot more car!!

So let's compare my car and the ActiveHybrid 3

328i Luxury (loaded with toys and Sport Auto) = £X a month for me.
ActiveHybrid 3 M Sport (lots of toys as standard) = £-4 a month!!

Or if I do ActiveHybrid 3 Luxury, it means only £-7 a month!

AND I WILL VISIT THE PETROL STATION (or "Gas Station") LESS

That is frustrating.

Can I change?

When can the ActiveHybrid 3 be ordered and delivered?

Here are the specs of the ActiveHybrid 3:

I dunno, but it's likely it won't handle as well due to the extra weight. Also it depends on where u drive it & how u drive it as a hybrid is not that efficient if u mainly do motorway miles.

How can the leasing cost be less when the price difference is over GBP10k, esp when the Active Hybrid only have auto & prof nav as standard over the 328i?

If this is true, you have a case specially because they chose the I6 as the base (not interested in any 4 cyl.). I have concerns about the weight. Do we want a 4000lbs 3-series?

Remember, my 328i Luxury is loaded to a retail price of £40,130 and the ActiveHybrid 3 M Sport is pre-well equipped to £43,275. 19% BIK to 18% BIK respectively is a huge personal saving.

My miles would be mostly motorway but the engine will shut down at speeds up to 100mph.

I checked the standard spec & only 2 items are standard over the petrol version - 8sp auto & prof nav. If u compare the 328i M-sport with the hybrid M-sport that is.
If u load up the equipment it'll cost a lot more than GBP43k, as items such as xenons are still not standard.

I don't understand how the leasing cost would be about the same for an Active Hybrid 3 compared to a 328i. At least in the U.S., I imagine the MSRP will be about $10k more.

I don't understand too, as per my post b4 ur post.
The hybrid only have 2 more features as standard over the petrol car, & even taking that into account the price difference is still over GBP6k.
If u compare 335i M sport & hybrid M sport, the price diff is abt GBP2.5k after taking into account of it's extra equipment (again the same 2 features).
One thing to note is sport suspension is not included in the standard spec of the hybrid, maybe even adaptive suspension is not available as an option.
