F36 Frameless Window Issue

So I disconnected my battery for about 1-2 hours, while leaving my doors unlocked and my windows up. When I went to re-connect the battery, the drivers side window mechanism no longer slides up after closing the door, even with windows all the way up. The one touch automatic window system has also stopped working, I now have to hold the button up or down to open/close. Anyone else experience this, or know how to remedy this issue before I call up my dealer?

EDIT:
Here's the fix:
1) turn on engine
2) make sure affected door is closed
3) roll window all the way up
4) roll window all the way down
5) release close button
6) hold close button for 17 seconds
7) release

This is fixed my auto up/down function as well as the auto-seal function.

Based on my experience with previous cars, you will need to do some kind of reset procedure.

Try this: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=650490

If this does not work, then you might need to bring it to the dealer.

Haven't experienced this, but it may need re-initialising.

This is literally the exact same issue, I'll do this later today and update everybody. Thank you for the link!

I'm just glad it was a simple fix and not a trip to the dealer

I had to disconnected my battery to install the digital gauge and couldn't figure out why the window auto function stopped working.

Tried your recommendation and it worked. Thank you
